The Zen Warrior dye studio is a pleasure to work in; its design was a perfect success.

The studio is intended to simulate the design of a Zen Temple, after the Indo-Chinese style, with colorful ornamentation and adorned by the metal artwork of our friend, Ed Mallory.

Thanks to Ed Mallory for his support and Bill Hady for his craftsmanship, we are now producing in our new dye facilities in rural Wisconsin.

Since settling into the work space, artist Tracy Lea Landis is reaching for a new level of color mixing and layering on each new batch of Zen Warrior® Wool Berets.

Carefully measuring dyes

Keeping the process moving

The Zen Warrior® Berets are always stirred with a genuine beaver-chewed stick as they are processed.
Check out the results of the color mixing that Tracy Lea Landis has been up to this Zen Warrior® season by going to the Colors Available page.
